Pieces of Perfect by Elizabeth Hayley

Pieces of Perfect

Blurb:
 Alternate cover edition of B00DU48LC2

ADULT CONTENT - Only Suitable for 17+.

As a sexy ex-hockey player, Max was the bad boy with something to prove. As a handsome single father, Adam was the man most women wait a lifetime for. Each man would take me on a journey of self-discovery that was marred with lies, jealousy, deceit, and a whole lot of fun. They each offered a glimpse of happily ever after, a piece of perfect. But in my constant quest to have it all, I would risk losing everything. Only one thing was certain. I’d never be the same after this

Angie J's Review:

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Ok I LOOOOOVE books that give you high drama, naughty sex and then an HEA.  Well Pep's this book isnt going to give you a "True" HEA BUT the authors have promised a sequel with the HEA attached.  So be warned that you will have a mega, super, ginormous cliffhanger.  If you are like me, you will be left with tears and an upset stomach as well.

So this book stars out with Lily having a crap-tastic day and running into super hottie Max while boarding an airplane.  A quickie in the bathrrom of the airport and she leaves.  She says no names to him when he tried to get her name.  She leaves and thinks 'Wow Go ME!!"  until he shows up at her school.....ugh!!!  Well the book Lily and Max do a lot of screwing throughout the day.  They develop feelings but Lily will not fall for the "bad" boy.  She wants stable and someone who isnt a whore.....hrmmmm pot meet kettle.

Well Lily meets and starts to date Adam who is a dad of one of her students.  Adam is perfect "on paper" and she is making herself fall in love with him.  She feels happy when she is with him but once he leaves she feels empty.  She knows she doesn't deserve him.  While she is dating (no sex) Adam she is screwing Max's brains out.  INSANE!!

She tries to break it off with Max but is realizing her feelings for him are real too and that scares the crap out of her.  She can't have wild and crazy.  She needs stable and consistent.

I can't even being to tell you more about this book because the ending is soooooo giant.  It is EPIC people.  i was crying at naptime...i teach preschool people so kinda awkward for the kids that were awake watching Ms. Angie crying!!!!  Anyway, i have to say I am dying to read the rest of this novel.  I cant even tell you more without spoiling the ending....seriously read it please so I have someone to talk to about this novel!!!

Elizabeth Hayley is actually "Elizabeth" and "Hayley," two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. This mutual love prompted them to put their English degrees to good use by penning their own. The product is Pieces of Perfect, their debut novel. They learned a ton about one another through the process, like how they clearly share a brain and have a persistent need to text each other constantly (much to their husbands' chagrin). They are currently working on a novel centered around Lily’s roommate Amanda, and have plans to resume Lily’s story in a sequel to Pieces of Perfect. "Elizabeth" lives with her husband, one and a half year old daughter and nutjob of a dog. “Hayley” lives with her husband and her own crazy dog. They are hoping to adopt a newborn soon. Elizabeth Hayley's writing motto is best captured by the words of Patrick Dennis: "I always start with a clean piece of paper and a dirty mind."

We split the time on Goodreads, so those of you who have been communicating with us get "pieces" of each of us. We appreciate all of your support
